useKit: The Bookmarklet to End Them All

Bild_1

One of the best christmas gifts I got in '09 was handcrafted by the evil genius that is Nicolas Ruflin.
useKit is a DiggBar style tool to host any given bookmarklet in a beautiful and simple toolbar. The best thing about it is that - being a bookmarklet itself - it doesn't add any bloat to your browser (it's NOT another annoying browser toolbar!) and it works beautifully across all modern browsers.

When we met at the 11th Web Monday Zurich at Google and after talking about bookmarklets for a while Nicolas asked me which one I'd like to see integrated in useKit. Well, I'm happy to say, that in any browser i'll ever use anywhere the only bookmarklet I'll ever need to add is useKit's.
Usekit

useKit also integrates with Twitter and Google Maps and allows you to translate and annotate any site. useKit is as useful a bookmarklet as they come.

Just so you know: The awesome useKit team is interested in your requests and favorite bookmarklets. Go ahead and tell them: http://usekit.com/contact

How to Sell DOCs, PDFs and Any Kind of File

In case you've been wondering how to sell that incredibly valuable document that you've created out of your very own blood, sweat and tears, here are some services that may help you. They all work essentially the same way:

  1. You register and log in.
  2. You upload, tag and describe your document.
  3. You set a price.
  4. OPTIONAL: You blast it through every social network that you're selling that document, in order to either lose all of your friends or actually make a profit.

Here are the services I stumbled upon, in no particular order. Take your pick and tell me what worked best for your needs.
